Prof. Anoop Swarup has been elected Secretary General of the Associaton of Unversities of Asia and the Pacific. Prof Dr Anoop Swarup, Founding Vice Chancellor, JLU India and Chairman, Centre for Global Nonkilling, Hawaii, US, is a recipient of many awards during his over 40 years of distinguished professional experience in diverse roles as an educationist and life scientist, poet, writer and columnist, futurist and peace activist, social entrepreneur and civil servant. Dr Swarup has held key posts in Ministry of HRD, Ministry of Finance and held top posts including UN Representative with UNSC, Emeritus Professor in India and abroad and as a Vice Chancellor. He is UN Representative with UNSC appointed by UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon in 2007, Emeritus Professor in India and abroad and as a Vice Chancellor.
