THDCIL women’s team brings laurels at 29th ICPSU Badminton Tournament (UPDATED)

R K Vishnoi, Chairman and Managing Director of THDC India Limited, extended his appreciation to THDCIL’s Women’s Team for their remarkable performance at the 29th ICPSU Badminton Tournament. The team achieved Gold in Women’s Singles category and Women’s Doubles category and Silver medal in the Women’s Team Event. The tournament was held from 4th to 7th December 2024 at the Noida Indoor Stadium, under the aegis of the Power Sports Control Board, Ministry of Power, Government of India, and hosted by NTPC Limited. Vishnoi expressed immense pride in the team, stating, “This is an extraordinary achievement for THDCIL reflecting their exceptional talent, hard work, and determination. Securing a Gold and Silver medals in the tournament further highlights the team’s collective effort and sportsmanship. The women workforce of THDCIL has once again demonstrated their excellence, not just in their professional roles but also in sports. This triumph is a shining example of that vision.” Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), conveyed his appreciation to Team THDCIL on Winning Gold in the Singles event by Ms. Bhawana Rawat, Sr. Manager, Doubles event by Ms. Bhawana Rawat and Mrs. Krishnendu PJ, (Asst. Manager) along with Silver medal in theWomen’s Team event. Sh. Singh added that this achievement showcases the work culture of THDCIL which enables our women to demonstrate their excellence in every field. These achievements not only bring pride to THDCIL but also inspire others to push boundaries and aim for excellence. The Women’s team included Ms. Bhavana Rawat, Mrs. Krishnendu, Mrs. Jyoti Meena, Ms. Varsha Joshi, Ms. Jayshree and Ms. Jagruthi Hyma.
