          I fully agree with the concept following will be advantages

1.      Saving of money and efforts of government

2.      Saving on part of candidates also

3.      Synchronization between different services as foundation course will be one

4.      No issue of same date different exam

5.      All civil services will start at same time so no issue of delay in some civil service

Revenue dept in pathetic state

 In so far as D/o Revenue is concerned the management of this Department has been very pathetic for decades. This is the department which generates the revenue and your handling of it has been worst than a municipal corporation. The appointments are done on whims and fancies. The rules are often changed according to circumstances. The posts of most of the Members are always vacant by design. Why can’t these be filled in advance, why Chairman posts in both CBEC and CBDT has been made a tool, why can’t regular officers who have put in more than 30 years of service could not find favour with the system and the retired are preferred over the serving. Members are taking voluntary retirement due to supersession, why don’t you remove them if they are incompetent, there is rot in the system and reality is not being projected to the higher ups. Recently in CBEC Adhoc arrangement was made to appoint Chairman and when he was considered one of the best man suited to the job overnight he was removed just 12 hrs before the budget by substituting the junior most as Chairman and all his seniors working under him. If all the seniors were incompetent, corrupt you could have removed them. Do you realise in this situation the system will work and generate revenue or there will be lag pulling only. This is how you deal with an organisation who is the revenue generator for GOI. Can you do all these things to an AIS officer, even junior in inter se seniority you cant put him incharge what to talk of many batched junior. Why this malice in Revenue and Revenue officers only. This system needs immediate intervention and things needs to be straitened. Incidentally this is all happening in an organisation which is closest situated to PMO.

AICC  celebrates IAC

AICC Celebrates IAC? What an emotion: Congress leaders on bail are celebrating the victory of the party born of India Against Corruption? Have the AICC members developed love and respect for clean public life or anti-corruption or remain under the illusion of using anti-corruption as a mere slogan to carry on CWG, 2G, Coal Mines Licensing etc with/without the aid/support of the AAP? May be they take the AAP to be like them only!
