26 IAS officers get new assignment in Gujarat (UPDATED)

As many as 26 IAS officers in Gujarat  have been assigned new responsibility. Pankaj Kumar has been appointed as ACS, Home, while Vipul Mitra is now ACS, Rural Housing and Rural Development and Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta will be posted as ACS, Industries and Mines. Similarly, Amrendra Kumar Rakesh is posted as ACS, GAD (Personnel); Mrs. Sunaina Tomar as ACS, Social Justice and Empowerment; Kamal Dayani as ACS, Revenue; Manoj Kumar Das, ACS to CM, gets additional charge of ACS, Ports and Transport; Manoj Aggarwal is posted as ACS, Health and Family Welfare; Arunkumar M Solanki as ACS, Forests and Environment; Ms Mamta Verma as ACS, Energy and Petrochemical; Mrs. Sonal Mishra as Commissioner, Rural Development and Secretary, Rural Development, Panchayts and Rural Housing; Ramesh Chand Meena as DG, Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration, Ahmedabad; Hareet Shukla as Secretary, Industries and Mines; Vijay Nehra as Secretary, Science and Technology; Jai Prakash Shivhare as Commissioner, Health, Medical Services and Medical Education; Roopwant Singh as Commissioner of Geology and Mining with additional charge of MD, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation; Swaroop P as Commissioner, Land Reforms; Ms Manisha Chandra as Secretary, Finance (Expenditure); Banchha Nidhi Pani is promoted to Super Time Scale (STS) and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Surat; Harshadkumar Ratilal Patel is promoted to STS and posted as Secretary, Labour and Employment; Mrs. Pongumatla Bharathi is promoted to STS and made State Project Director, Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan; Rajneeth Kumar is promoted to STS and posted as Commissioner, MSME; Ms Shalini Agrawal is promoted to STS and appointed as Municipal Commissioner, Vadodara; KK Nirala is promoted to STS and posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Women and Child Development; SA Patel is promoted to STS and made Commissioner, Mid-day Meals and HK Patel was promoted to STS and posted as MD, Gujarat Civil Supplies Corporation.
