Postings of Dy/Joint Commissioners in Income tax

The present Board has decentralised postings of DCs/JCs in Director General set-up to the local placement committee. The earlier Board usurped such powers in their hands for postings across India into their hands for "unknown purpose". It is believed that the earlier Board did it with ulterior motives.
