Khadi Showrooms in many states accept only cash payment. They will not entertain any form of digital payment. According to information, khadi showrooms in Rajasthan, UP, MP, Bihar, jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha insist for cash payment. Sources said that their such attitude against the PM's insistence to increase digital payment. Sources further said that these Khadi outlets are state governments baby and they should take initiative in this direction. Some states have the excuse that staff of these outlets are low educated and they can't handle digital transactions. But these governments do not have any satisfactory answers. When the poorly educated staff can use smart mobile phones then why the reluctance towards digital transactions?It is said that this could be one of the reason that the sales and income of states outlets are  far behind from the Central govts outlets.
