J.K. Shukla has assumed the charge of Secretary, Coir Board under Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India. JK Shukla has been instrumental in widespread marketing of the Coir Board,  he contributed in increasing the domestic sales of Coir Products by more than 400% has been remarkable, also Coir Board has bagged gold medal for another time. Shukla and his team's got best performance in IITF- 2022. He has also been instrumentalis in improving the activities of coir board in non traditional areas, such as Goa, Maharashtra, Gujrat, Varanasi & North East region also.
