OGAS officers to be considered for grant of NFU to Addl Secretary

This system is doing more damage to the country and should be scrapped. Mediocracy promoted. No where in the world such a system exists. This reeks of colonial feudalism to say the least. Infact this entire system of bureaucracy should move towards "Specialist Cadre" rather than a cadre of "Generalists". DOPT is a defunct department which doesn’t inculcate best HR practices... These departments have to be scrapped.
