10+ lakh students quit UP Board exams

Over 10 lakh students, boys and girls, have in five days only not appeared in this year's 10th and 12th exams conducted by UP Board of Secondary Education. Reason is said to be a complete ban on cheating and crackdown on education mafia. The administration has put a number of CC cameras to nab  cheaters. According to sources absentees figure could go upto 15 lakh , which will be a record. A total 66.33 lakh students have applied for board examination this year. Exams will last till end of February.
