1510 posts of IAS vacant
As many as 1510 posts of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have been lying vacant till January 1, 2020. A total of 942 posts are to be filled through the RR quota while 568 vacancies are filled up through promotion quota. 180 IAS officers were being recruited through CSE each year since CSE-2012.

Now, the strength has been increased to 200.
