16 IAS officers get new assignment in AP

In a major reshuffle, as many as 16 IAS officers have been shifted and given new assignments in Andhra Pradesh. Accordingly, D Muralidhar Reddy has been appointed as Vice Chairman and Managing Director, AP Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC), while Vijay Rama Raju V was posted as Collector and DM, YSR Kadapa district and Chevvuri Hari Kiran takes charge as Collector and DM, East Godavari district. Similarly, Vadarevu Vinay Chand will be posted as CEO, Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust;  Dr Mallikarjuna A as Collector and DM, Visakhapatnam district; Dr M Hari Jawaharlal as Commissioner, Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R & R); Mrs A Surya Kumari as Collector and DM, Vizianagaram; G Veerapandian as VC & MD, AP State Civil Supplies Corporation; P Koteswara Rao as Collector and DM, Kurnool;  K Venkata Ramana Reddy as Metropolitan Commissioner, VMRDA; Sumit Kumar as Joint Collector (RB & R), West Godavari; Dr B R Ambedkar as Joint Collector (RB & R), Srikakulam district; P Arjun Rao as Director, Handlooms and Textiles; Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar as Joint Collector (RB & R), Chittoor and M Prabhakar Reddy is now VC & MD, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh. Besides, Dr G Vani Mohan, PS (Endowments), Revenue Department is placed in full additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Endowments.
