17 IAS officers get new postings in UP

As many as 17 IAS officers have been reshuffled in UP and handed over new assignments. Accordingly, Gauri Shankar Priyadarshi has been appointed as Commissioner, Rural Development, while Mrs Kanchan Verma will take charge as IG, Registration and Shahid Manzar Abbas Riizvi is now Secretary, Finance Department. Similarly, Pramod Kumar Upadhyaya will be posted as Additional IG, Registration; Dr Vedpati Mishra as Special Secretary, Secondary Education Department; Prakash Bindu as Special Secretary, Science & Technology; Jaishankar Dubey as Special Secretary, Finance; Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav as Member (Judicial), Revenue Board, UP; Mahendra Prasad as MD, UP Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation; Amit Pal as Municipal Commissioner, Meerut; Saurabh Gangwar as Chief Development Officer, Sonbhadra; Pulkit Garg as Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jhansi; Jayendra Kumar as Chief Development Officer, Siddhartha Nagar; Alok Yadav as Vice Chairman, Jhansi Development Authority; Sandeep Bhagia as Chief Development Officer, Muzaffarnagar; Chandra Mohan Garg as Municipal Commissioner, Prayagraj and Jag Pravesh was made Chief Development Officer, Bareilly.
