17 IAS officers get new responsibilities in Karnataka

In a major reshuffle, 17 IAS officers have been shifted and handed over new responsibilities in Karnataka. Tushar Giri Nath has been appointed Commissioner, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike's (BBMP), while Gaurav Gupta is posted as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Infrastructure Development Department and T K Anil Kumar, PS, Health & Family Welfare, gets additional charge of the post of PS, Revenue Department. Similarly, Ponnuraj V, will take over as Secretary to Government, DPAR (e-Governance), Bengaluru; Ponnuraj V, with additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Karnataka Power Corporation Limited, Bengaluru; Manoz Jain is now Secretary, Labour Department, Bengaluru; Mrs Khushboo G Chowdhary was appointed as Deputy Resident Commissioner, Karnataka Bhavan, New Delhi; Dr Rajendra K as Secretary, Karnataka Public Service Commission, Bengaluru; Hiremath M G as Managing Director, Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Corporation (KRIDL ) Bangalore; Nitesh Patil as Deputy Commissioner, Belagavi District, Belagavi; Gurudatta Hegde as Deputy Commissioner, Dharwad District, Dharwad; Dr Naveen Bhat Y as Director (Personnel) Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, Bengaluru; Bhoobalan T, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Bagalkot District Bagalkot is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, Bagalkot District, Bagalkot; Dr Dileesh Sasi takes over as Director, Electronic Delivery Citizen Services (EDCS), DPAR (e-Gov), Bengaluru; Bharat S as Managing Director, NWKRTC and Mrs Shilpa M is now Joint Managing Director, Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation, Bengaluru.
