Chief Justice of India, NV Ramana, has said that a total of 180 recommendations have been made for appointments in High Courts so far since he has assumed office. Of them, 126 appointments have been made while 54 proposals are awaiting approval from the Centre. Justice Ramana made the statement while addressing an event at the Madras High Court recently.
