1971 batch retired IA&AS officer Shailendra Pandey passes away

A 1971 batch retired IA&AS officer Shailendra Pandey has passed away in Delhi on March 31. He served in the Govt of India at various levels. He was JS & FA during 1997-2002 for the ministry of water resources, and ministry of social justice & empowerment. He worked as Principal Acct General for Uttar Pradesh from 2002 to 2003. Subsequently, he served as a Deputy CAG at the CAG's  office from 2006 to 2007. After his retirement, he worked as a member in the Central Administrative Tribunal at Delhi from 2007 to 2012. Prof Gyanendra Pandey, a well known historian, is his younger brother.
