1988 batch IPS is favoured lot in GoI

During a get-together of IPS officers it was felt that 1986  and 1987 batch is  not a favoured lot in the Government of India.All the officers of these batches are still waiting for promotion in GoI.It was felt that 1988 batch IPS is liked by the present bosses.Even three officers of this batch are currently holding charge of important organisations- Atul Karwal of Gujarat cadre is Director of the Police Academy in Hyderabad, S N Pradhan of the Jharkhand cadre id DG NDRF and Ram Phal Pawar  of the West Bengal cadre is heading the NCRB.
