The 19th convocation ceremony of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR) was held on January 4, 2024 at Mumbai. Dr P K Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister was the Chief Guest while Shaktikanta Das, Governor, Reserve Bank of India and President, IGIDR presided over the programme.
Dr Basanta Kumar Pradhan, Director and Vice Chancellor, IGIDR gave the welcome speech and introduced the Chief Guest. Thereafter, RBI Governor conferred degrees to the students. The Chancellor’s gold medal was presented by Dr Mishra. In all 23 MSc, 3 PhD and 4 MPhil students were conferred with degrees.
