2.75 crore Ration Cards deleted
As an outcome of digitization of Ration Cards/beneficiary records, de-duplication due to Aadhaar seeding, a total of 2.75 crore ration cards have been deleted/cancelled. Based on this, the Government has been able to achieve Rightful Targeting of Food Subsidies of about Rs 17,000 Crore per annum.
