20 cases still pending for prosecution

The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is reportedly waiting for sanctions for prosecution against 20 officers on corruption charges related to various Ministries, Departments and others till December 31, 2018. According to information, three 3 pending cases are against 3 UP officials from Assistant, Accountant, SDM, Office Superintendent, GM and Project Economist; three cases  against DoPT officials; two cases are against SBI officials, one each against Ministries of  Defence, Railways, MSME, Commerce and Industries, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, J & K , Karnataka, HP , A& N Islands and PNB are also pending for want of sanction.
