22 police officers reshuffled in J&K

As many as 22 police officers have been transferred and posted to different places in J&K. Accordingly, Amit Kumar has been posted as Incharge DIG Central Kashmir Range, while Sandeep Gupta was appointed as SP North Srinagar and Shiv Kumar Sharma will be SSP Traffic City Jammu. Similarly, Sohail Munawar has been appointed as SSP CID SB Kashmir; Zahid Nasim Manhas as CO Ist Border Battalion Jammu; Zubair Ahmed Khan as CO, IRP 6th Battalion and Randeep Kumar was made SSP, SSG. Shokat Hussain Shah joins as Principal PTS, Manigam; Yougal Kumar Manhasen as SSP (Tech), CID Headquarters; Rohit Baskotra was posted as SSP, CID SB Jammu; Amit Gupta as CO, IRP 16th Battalion; Suram Singh as CO, JKAP 6th Battalion. Paramvir Singh shall report to Home Department for further posting, while Prabh Dayal Sharma is Deputy CO, IRP 15th Battalion and Sanjay Sharma was made Additional SP Rural, Jammu. Sheikh Faisal Qayoom has been appointed as SP, SSG, while Sanjay Parihar will be Additional SP CID SB, Jammu and Rajni Sharma is Additional SP Ramban. Shabir Ahmad is posted as Deputy CO JKAP 5th Battalion; Surinder Kumar as Deputy CO IRP 24th Battalion; Ravail Singh as Deputy CO JKAP 8th Battalion and Pran Nath Pandita was posted as Staff Officer to Additional DGP CID, J&K.
