27 IPS officers get new assignments in Bihar

As many as 27 IPS officers have been reshuffled in Bihar. Kumar Gautam, a 2011-batch IPS officer, was appointed as SP, Bettiah, while Upendra Nath Verma, has been transferred as SP, Aurangabad. Similarly, Rakesh Kumar has been appointed as Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-5 (Patna); Bhanu Pratap Singh as SP, Khagaria; Harimohan Shukla as Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-7 (Katihar) and Shikhar Chaudhary will serve as SP, Kaimur district.
Further, Baliram Kumar Chaudhary has been posted as SP (Security), Special Branch (Patna); Himanshu as SP, Sheikhpura; Amitesh Kumar  SP, Banka district; Shaurya Suman as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Purnia; Sweety Sehrawat as SP (G), Special Branch (Patna);  Ambarish Rahul as Assistant Director, Bihar Police Academy (Rajgir); Ramanand Kaushal as SP, Crime Investigation Department (CID); Rajesh Kumar as SP, Bagaha; Shubhank Mishra as SP, Vaishali; Vikram Sihag as SP, Saharsa; Chandra Prakash as Assistant Director, Bihar Police Academy (Rajgir) with additional charge as SP, Cyber Crime and Security Unit (Patna); Aparajit Lohan as Commandant, Bihar Special Armed Police-16 (Patna) and Kota Kiran Kumar joins as SP, Jehanabad.
Additionally, Parichay Kumar is now SP, Katihar; Shailaja as City SP (CSP), Patna City (East); Sanket Kumar as CSP, Patna City (West); Shailendra Singh as SP, Sheohar; Atulesh Jha as CSP, Bhagalpur; Abhinav as CSP, Gaya; Divyanjali Jaiswal as Rural SP, Gaya and Sakshi Kumari joins as new Rural SP of Darbhanga.
