27 IRS-Customs officers promoted to Deputy Commissioner grade

As many as 27 Indian Revenue Service of Customs and Central Excise officers of 1996 batch have been promoted to the grade of Deputy Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise. The officers are: D Anil, John Pinto, S P Das, P U Upadhayay, P Venket, P L Dwivedi, R P Mishra, P K Halder, S R Mahajan, Sanjay Sharan, K C Jena, P Muthiswamy, Amit Jain, R Gurunathan, Navneet, V K Gupta, V K Singh, Mohammed Ali, D R Singh, S M Akhtar K M Nagarajan, Anurag Bakshi, P T Kamble, L N B Waghmare, M K Mondal, K V K Suman, D S Negi and Sheo Shankar Mahli. Besides, three officers were also promoted include Srinivas Tata of 1990; Md Nesarul Haque of 1991 and V K Dahiya of 1992 batch.
