3 IAS officers in Assam get new assignments

Three IAS officers in Assam have been given new assignments. Anant Lal Gyani is transferred and posted as Secretary, Revenue & DM Department, while Bhaskar Pegu, Secretary, CM's Secretariat and Revenue & OM Department is also posted as Director, Agriculture, Assam as additional charge and is relieved from the charge of Secretary, Revenue & DM. Besides, Niraj Verma, PS, Home, Political, Power (E), Personnel Departments and Chairman, Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Ltd., is also posted as Chairman, Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd., as additional charge.
