The 2nd National Judicial Pay Commission for subordinate judiciary in its interim report submitted to the Supreme Court has recommended that an interim relief of a 30% increase in basic pay along with accrued increments be paid to judicial officers of all categories. The said hike would, however, be treated as a separate component and no Dearness Allowance (DA) would be payable on it.
