32 CSS officers die of Corona

It's said that in the second wave of Covid, 32 CSS officers have lost their lives till May 5, 2021. Among them are two Directors, four Dy Secretaries, six Under Secretaries, 11 Section Officers and nine Asstt Section Officers. Except two, rest of the CSS officers died in April this year. Of them, Ms Radha Rani was posted as Director, MHA while Haneef Akhtar was posted as Director in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Sitaram Gupta, Jyoti Singhal, A K Saha and Arvind Shukla were Dy Secretary. Chandan Kumar, Biplav Kumar Naskar, Gopal Krishna Coudhury, Sandeep Kumar Sinha, Mukesh and  Kapoor Singh were posted as Under Secretary in various ministries/ departments. .
