40 IAS officers in UP to be promoted to Secretary rank
In Uttar Pradesh, 40 IAS officers of the 2009 batch will be promoted from Special Secretary to Secretary rank. Among them are 5 District Magistrates who are likely to be promoted to Commissioner rank. They are: Suryapal Gangwar, DM Lucknow; S Rajalingam, DM Varanasi; Indra Vikram Singh, DM Ghaziabad
