414 posts of Judges lying vacant in High Courts

A total of 414 posts of Permanent Judges and Additional Judges have been lying vacant in various 24 High Courts in the country. As many as 247 posts of Permanent Judges and 167 posts of Additional Judges are vacant against total strength of 1079.
