5 IPS officers get new assignments in AP

As many as five IPS officers have been transferred and posted to different places in Andhra Pradesh. Accordingly, R K Meena has been appointed as Addl. DGP, Operations (Greyhounds & OCTOPUS), while Dr. Shanka Brata Bagchi was posted as IGP, AP Special Police Battalion and Dr C M Thrivikrama Varma will now be DIG, Guntur Range, Guntur. Similarly, G Vijay Kumar has been posted as Special Secretary, Home Department and Sudheer Kumar Reddy is SP, Vigilance & Enforcement.
