7 IPS officers shifted in Chhattisgarh

Seven IPS officers have been shifted in Chhattisgarh and given new responsibilities. D M Awasthi has been appointed as DG, EOW and ACB, while Dr Anand Chhabra takes charge as IG Durg and Ratanlal Dangi is shifted as Director, State Police Academy Raipur. Besides, Badrinarayan Meena will be posted as IG, Bilaspur; Ajay Kumar Yadav as IG, Intelligence with additional charge of IG, Raipur Range (District Raipur only); Sheikh Arif Hussain as In-charge IG, Raipur Range (all districts of the range except Raipur district) and Ramgopal Garg has been transferred as In-charge IG, Surguja.
