7th CPC allowances to cost govt Rs 30,748 cr annually
The 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) projected an additional financial burden of Rs 29,300 crore per annum due to revised allowances. Modifications will further add Rs 1,448.23 crore, bringing the total additional financial implication to Rs 30,748.23 crore annually.
