The Government of India has paved the way for the people wishing to work with it at a crucial level of senior management (Joint Secretary level) by inviting applications from talented and motivated nationals. The Government of India has decided to appoint as many as 10 outstanding individuals with expertise in the areas: Revenue, Financial Services, Economic Affairs, Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers' Welfare, Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, Environment, Forests and Climate Change, New & Renewable Energy, Civil Aviation and Commerce for a maximum period of five years on contract basis at pay scale as applicable to Joint Secretary: Rs 144200-218200 per month.
