In view of Dr. Ravi Kota, Chief Secretary, Assam proceeding on earned leave from March 13 to April 1, Syedain Abbasi, Special Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources Departments will remain in-charge of Chief Secretary, Assam in addition to his substantive posting till the return of Dr. Ravi Kota. Abbasi is a 1990 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
