The ACC approved the appointment of Dr Suresh Chandra Sharma as the Chairman and 1986 batch West Bengal cadre IAS officer Rakesh Kumar Vats as the Secretary General of National Medical Commission, the new medical education regulator to replace Medical Council of India in January. So far no appointment order of Dr Sharma and Vatsa - any reason ?
