Acceptance of Resignation notified after four years

It took CBIC four years to notify the acceptance of technical resignation of an IRS officer. Mohit Kumar , a 2013 batch IRS(C&CE) officer tendered his technical resignation on June 21, 2014. But Board could issue the notification regarding acceptance  of his technical resignation on June 29, 2018. On top of this CBIC update this on July 5, 2018 on its website.
