Aditya Puri can continue if RBI extends retirement age of private bank chiefs to 75 years. The Reserve Bank of India has approved re-appointment of Aditya Puri as MD & CEO ofHDFC Bank w.e.f. November 1, 2018 to October 26, 2020 (i.e. till the date of his attaining age of 70 years). Shareholders had already approved his appointment in 2015 for a period of 5 years.
