AeSI meet held at IIT Delhi

The Council of Aeronautical Society of India met at IIT Delhi campus this month and discussed about the emerging trends and priorities in indigenous Defence technologies. The AeSI council also discussed about the strategy to enhance the role of MSMEs in aerospace and Defence. On this occasion Dr G Satheesh Reddy, Secretary, Defence R&D and Chairman DRDO also delivered an ‘Institute lecture’ to AeSI council, IITDelhi faculty and students on ‘Migration of Indigenous Defence Technologies – contribution of DRDO’. The institute lecture was jointly organized by AeSI & JATC ( Joint Advanced Technology Centre). During the talk, Dr Reddy also spoke about DRDO initiatives in handholding of industry partners, encouraging applied research in industry, skilling efforts in aerospace & Defence and recent government initiatives like in Make in India, Technology development and innovation in Defence R&D and exports.
