After demonetization, yet another strike on properties from Aug 14 ?

As the people are yet to heave a sigh of relief from traumas of demonetization, the Government of India is going to hit yet another strike. The properties, which are not linked with Aadhaar and not digitalized land records, mutation records, sale and purchase records from year 1950, will be treated as 'Benami Sampati' after August 14, 2017 under the Benami Transactions (Prohibition Amended Act, 2016). The Government of India has written all the Chief Secretaries to complete the digitalization works before stipulated time.
