After seven months, PESB gets full strength on Board

After a gap of seven months, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has got full strength on Board with the composition of Chairperson and a new Member. For the first time, a woman industrialist from the private sector presently CMD, Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), Mrs Mallika Srinivasan has been made Chairperson to select the candidates on the Boards of Government PSUs.  Besides, a 1985 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre and served as Secretary DPE, Sailesh will be a new Member on the Board. Rear Admiral Shekhar Mittal who served as CMD, Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) is an existing Member on the Board and M K Gupta, a 1979 batch officer of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), is serving as a Board Member after retiring as Member of Engineering, Railway Board. On the other hand, Mrs Kimbuong Kipgen, who served earlier as Director DoPT, has been rendering her service as Secretary of Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) at Joint Secretary level since March 2018. She is an officer of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS).
