Aggrieved Election Commission may transfer more IPS officers in Gujarat

Several police officers were transferred before the date of assembly elections was announced in Gujarat. However, the Election Commission was upset because the state government did not order the transfer of more than seven senior IPS officers till the last minute.  Now the Election Commission  may recommend  transfer of more than seven senior IPS officers.  It includes high officials of Surat, Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
