Air Marshal Praveen Keshav Vohra, UYSM, AVSM, VM (Commissioned 19 Dec 1987 into fighter stream) assumed charge as Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Policy Planning & Force Development) at HQ IDS. Air Marshal Vohra is NDA & Air Force Academy alumnus; has over 3,500 flying hours on MiG-21/MiG-29 variants; Category ‘A’ flying instructor and fighter combat leader; founder member of Suryakirans aerobatic team; commanded No. 47 Squadron (Adampur); key staff roles including Director Joint Operations Planning, Air Assistant to CAS, ACAS (Ops Strategy), Senior Air Staff Officer Western Air Command (from 1 Dec 2023), and Commandant Air Force Academy (from 1 June 2025). Awards: UYSM (15 Aug 2025 for Operation Sindoor 2025 India–Pakistan conflict), AVSM (2017), VM (2007). Commodore Commandant of No. 47 Squadron.
