Air officer commanding-in-chief reviewed the preparedness of Tezpur base

Air Marshal SP Dharkar , the air officer commanding-in-chief of Eastern Air Command checked and reviewed operational preparedness of Tezpur Air Force base. While interacting with the personnel of the Station, he urged them to keep pace with technological advancements and stressed upon the need for enhancing their skills, maintaining proficiency and excelling in all roles entrusted. He exhorted all Air Warriors to remain physically fit and mentally agile for operational readiness and be vigilant to meet any security challenge. The AOC-in-C while commenting on the Agniveer Vayu scheme said that well trained Agniveervayu have become an integral part of Air Force and it is the responsibility of all senior Air Warriors to groom and train them. Upon arrival, he was received by Air Commodore VJ Singh, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Tezpur. The Air Marshal was also presented with a Guard of Honour.
