An unusual order of Delhi Chief Secretary Vijay Dev !

Chief Secretary of the Delhi government Vijay Dev has been appointed Election Commissioner of the NCT of Delhi five months  before the retirement of Sanjay Srivastava. This is considered to be a subtle  move of the AAP Government for conducting the municipal corporation polls in the city next year. Vijay Dev's appointment by the Lieutenant Governor will be effective for a six-year term from April 21, 2022.
