Another Iyer -Raghvendra Singh appointed Secretary, Culture after retirement

There has been another case of the appointment of retired Secretary as Secretary in the Government of India after Parmeshwaran Iyer. Now, Raghvendra Singh has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Culture on contract basis for a period of one year. Singh, who is a 1983 batch retired IAS officer of West Bengal cadre had retired as Secretary Culture last year. He will continue holding the charge of CEO, Development of Museums and Cultural Spaces.
