Anup Bagchi takes charge as HDFC Bank MD & CEO

Anup Bagchi has been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HDFC with effect from October 27, 2026. He has also been appointed as an Additional Director with effect from October 2, 2026. A seasoned financial services leader, Bagchi brings over three decades of experience across banking, capital markets, wealth management and insurance, having held senior leadership roles including CEO & MD of ICICI Securities and Executive Director of ICICI Bank.
