Are secretaries holding meetings or 'Dabars' ?

In some ministries and departments, subordinate officers are fed up with meetings taken by their bosses. They said that it looks less like a meeting than a ‘Darbar’. Bosses want subordinates to be present in the Darbar all the time which goes on till late in the evening or night. This ‘Darbari’ attitude is affecting the routine work of the offices.
