Army personnel from postal service being sent to regular Army units

The Central Government has decided to optimize Army Postal Service (APS) by transferring Army personnel from various Field Post Offices (FPSs) to regular Army units to enhance combat capability of Indian Army. The personnel from Department of Posts will be deployed in FPSs to carry out its function.
