Aruna Sharma appointed Member, RBI

Mrs. Aruna Sharma, Former Secretary, Ministry of Information Technology & Steel, has been appointed as Member, Reserve Bank of India. She developed complete network for direct benefit transfer and having names in local language. In MP through Panch Parmeshwar, all construction work and payments are cashless due to her efforts. UNDP documented her financial inclusion sustainable model. The member has experience on IT and hands on.
