Ashok Lavasa to join Asian Development Bank

Ashok Lavasa, Election Commissioner in the Election Commission of India, will be joining as Vice President for Private Sector Operations and Public Private Partnerships  in the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He is whispered to be succeeding incumbent Diwakar Gupta whose tenure is ending on August 31. Lavasa is a 1980 batch retired IAS officer of Haryana cadre.
