Asian Games and confused media

In China, the Asian Games are going on. It has confused the media. They are not on the same page of which year's Games are being organised. One week has gone by, but the media is giving a different year. AIR News says Asian Games 2023, even private channels also divided, but Sport Authority of India @ SAI media X said Asian Games 22. PIB press release mentioned AG 2022.Now the question is why are all busy creating confusion when SAI is giving the year?
