Asthana is new DG, BSF
Rakesh Asthana presently DG, BCAS, has been appointed as Director General of Border Security Force (BSF) with additional charge of NCB. He is a 1984 batch IPS officer of Gujarat cadre. Earlier there were strong rumours of his taking over as Delhi Police Commissioner.
